Ariana Grande wants you to know she doesn’t ‘hate America’

Arianna Grande, professional singing mumbler and casual doughnut licker, wants you to know that she loves America.

Grande was caught on a security camera licking two display donuts at a donut shop and then encouraging her friend to do the same.

When a worker at the shop brought out new a tray of doughnuts Grande was caught on tape saying, “What the fuck is that?” This was then followed by: “I hate Americans. I hate America.”

Now Grande is back-pedalling big time and released a statement that proclaims her undying love for America.

“I am EXTREMELY [sic] proud to be an American and I’ve always made it clear that I love my county [sic].”

However, the petite singer went on to say that although shedoesn’thate America or its citizens, she does hate the food it eats.

It was a very “sorry not sorry” moment:

“As an advocate for healthy eating, food is very important to me and I sometimes get upset by how freely we as Americans eat and consume things without giving any thought to the consequences that it has on our health and society as a whole.”
