Embattled Bill Cosby loses another ally in Sidney Poitier

Longtime Bill Cosby pal and collaborator Sidney Poitier is said to be “utterly disgusted” by the comedy legend following the staggering number of women coming forward accusing him of sexual abuse, according to the National Enquirer. “I can tell you that Mr. Poitier is terribly disgusted by what Bill Cosby has done, and he feels sorry for him,” a source says. “Look at Sidney Poitier — unblemished, untainted and distinguished. Look at Bill Cosby. Thirty women, they’re not all lying.”

But don’t expect Poitier himself to go on record shaming Cosby. “He’s dignified, and remains that way,” the source explains. “Which is why he will say nothing about Cosby.” I guess this means no “Uptown Saturday Night” reunion, then?
