Eva Mendes sticks up for pregnant women’s maternity style

You there, snarky fashion-watchers, maybe lay off the pregnant ladies, OK? That’s the position Eva Mendes is taking, and honestly it’s embarrassing someone has to say it, but such is the world we live in. “I don’t think it’s fair to comment on [pregnant] women. I think that’s when we should be off-limits,” she tells Elle.com. “I was basically in an oversized T-shirt — a very oversized T-shirt — for a long time. I didn’t do anything style-wise.” Not that there’s anything wrong with that.

But wait, does this mean we can’t say mean things about Kim Kardashian now since she’s pregnant? Because I like Mendes’ idea in theory, but it might be a little too tough for me in practice.
