Just a block away from Brooklyn’s burgeoning waterfront in DUMBO, the Galapagos Art Space staple cabaret act, Floating Kabarette, is adding heat to summer Saturdays.
The performance features unique aerial, ensemble dance productions, burlesque variety acts, divas, chanteuses and chanteurs — with as many as 20 performers each night.
This Saturday’s lineup, hosted by Bastard Keith, includes burlesque queen Ms. Tickle, Brooklyn hot-jazz purveyors The Red Hook Ramblers, Harvest Moon (“the sultry siren of burlesque”) and aerial performer Rachel Salzman.
Audience members huddle around intimate two-person tables to watch the evening’s sensual performances.
Just as alluring? The LEED-certified green performance space, boasting a 1,600-square-foot lake and reflecting pond.
