Foo Fighters can't say no to 1,000 hard-rocking Italians

A viral video of 1,000 fans playing "Learning to Fly" prompts response from Dave Grohl.

It turns out that if you gather up 1,000 fellow rock musicians in a field to play the Foo Fighters' "Learn to Fly" all in an attempt to woo the band into coming to play your small Italian town, it will be worth the effort. Fabio Zaffagnini's Rockin' 1000 music video project went viral late last week as a big to bring the band to Romagna, Italy, and it didn't take long for Dave Grohl to respond.

"Forgive me that I don't speak Italian, only a little," Grohl says in an iPhone video posted to the band's Facebook page. "This video, how beautiful, so beautiful. Thank you so much. We are coming, I promise. We'll see you soon."

I mean, how could he really say no? I'm just worried this is setting a dangerous precedent, though. If all you need is a well-coordinated flashmob and a GoProon a drone to get a famous person to dowhat you want, the possibilities are endless.
