Former ‘Star Wars’ star Jake Lloyd in car chase arrest

This is no way to nab yourself a cameo in the new “Star Wars” movies. Jake Lloyd, who played young Anakin Skywalker in “The Phantom Menace” and then not much else, was arrested in Charleston, South Carolina recently after leading police on a wild car chase that ended with him losing control of his vehicle and crashing into some bushes, according to TMZ. The 26-year-old was charged with reckless driving, resisting arrest and driving without a license.

There are a couple of terrible joke options here, but I’m sticking with this: I always knew pod-racing was a gateway sport. We were right to ban it.
