Fox knows to go gentle with fans of ‘The X-Files’

Fox hopes that by releasing footage from its revival of “The X-Files” 10 seconds at a time, fans can build up some emotional tolerance for seeing these characters again.

It’s a nice though, but we’re still going to lose our minds when it all comes together.

After the first glimpse of Fox Mulderand Dana Scully bursting into a room, guns drawn, we got another 10-second clip late last night. This time there’s dialogue, withGillian Anderson proving she can still doScully’s compassionate whisperlike it’s1997 and she’d just found Mulder half-dead in an abandoned warehouse.
