‘Full House’ might be relaunched with some of the original cast

UNITED STATES - OCTOBER 06: FULL HOUSE - 'Breaking Up is Hard to Do (in 22 Minutes)' - Season Three - 10/6/89, Danny (Bob Saget, center) and Joey (Dave Coulier) taught Michelle (Mary Kate/Ashley Olsen) not to be selfish during playtime with her friends., (Photo by ABC Photo Archives/ABC via Getty Images) Sure, we could have used a different photo for this article, but we really thought Michelle’s outfit in this scene was too amazing to pass by.

Well, it worked for “Girl Meets Word.” Some of the original cast (OK, everyone except Aunt Becky and the Olsen Twins) have reportedly signed on to make a revived version of “Full House” with Warner Brothers Television. Per the Hollywood Reporter, series creator Jeff Franklin, original executive producer Bob Boyett and John Stamos have all teamed up to try and get a new version of the show off the ground, and Bob Saget, Dave Coulier, Candace Cameron Bure, Jodie Sweetin and Andrea Barber would all be involved to some degree.

Apparently, repeats of the show have done well on Nick at Nite, and, given the ongoing nostalgia for anything ’90s, a relaunch might have some chance of success. Stamos has apparently been leading the charge. No additional details are available as yet, so you’ll have to wait to nostalgically set your DVR to record the first episode.
