Geena Davis prepares to share some wisdom with some very lucky people.

Fans of archery, “A League of Their Own” and “Grey’s Anatomy,” rejoice! Geena Davis is set to appear in a “major guest arc” on “Grey’s Anatomy” this season, per EW. She’ll be playing a surgeon, so presumably she will not be suffering from a mysterious exotic ailment like other big name guest stars. What, you didn’t remember that she almost went to the Olympics as an archer? It’s important to remember that Geena Davis can do anything. She also runs the Geena Davis Institute on Gender in Media, because Geena Davis does not have time for gender inequality in the media.
It’s unclear when Ms. Davis will begin appearing on the show, but it’s always a good time to rewatch “A League of Their Own,” so do that as research for now.
