Halle Berry is pregnant, her rep tells Us Weekly. “We can confirm that Halle Berry and Olivier Martinez are expecting a child,” the rep says. Sources tell TMZ that the bundle of joy will be a boy, providing a baby half-brother to 5-year-old Nahla, Berry’s daughter with ex-boyfriend Gabriel Aubry. Berry and Martinez, who met while filming “Dark Tide,” have been engaged for a little over a year.
While Katy Perry recovers from her breakup with John Mayer, she’s reportedly turning to a very surprising source for comfort: ex-husband Russell Brand. Sources tell Radar Online that Perry has been texting Brand for advice following her split. “Russell may appear like a comic book character, but he’s got a wise head on his skinny shoulders,” a source says. “Katy reached out to him after she split with John, bemoaning her luck with men, and Russell provided her with some much-needed reassurance. He flattered her with compliments and just listened to her every word. Russell also used his wit to cheer Katy up.”
Jada Pinkett-Smith is no stranger to addressing the gossip and rumors circulating about her marriage to Will Smith, and now she’s taking on a doozy: the claim that the pair have an open relationship. “No, I think that people get that idea because Will and I are very relaxed with one another,” she says in an interview with the Huffington Post. “But I’ve always told Will, ‘You can do whatever you want as long as you can look at yourself in the mirror and be OK.’ Because at the end of the day, Will is his own man. I’m here as his partner, but he is his own man. He has to decide who he wants to be, and that’s not for me to do for him. Or vice versa.”
Gwyneth Paltrow thinks her rear end is the best endorsement personal trainer Tracy Anderson can receive. “I knew it would never change. I had exercised before I had met her,” Paltrow says, according to Us Weekly. “I had done Ashtanga yoga and pilates and I [ran] and I thought I was fit, you know?” But Anderson’s regimen completely transformed Paltrow back there — enough that a friend took notice while shopping for bathing suits. “I said, ‘You know, this isn’t so bad for 40, right?'” Paltrow remembers. “And [my friend] goes, ‘It’s not bad for a 22-year-old stripper!'”
Amanda Bynes has a bone to pick with members of the press who are reporting on her wild and unpredictable antics on Twitter: They’re not using the right photos. “They write a news article about every tweet I write, and I hate the picture they choose. They repeat what I tweet then add a bad photo,” Bynes posted to her Twitter account, asking that the press “only use photos from my Twitter when writing an article about me.” And she has a punishment lined up for outlets that don’t adhere to her rules. “I’m putting a photo up of everyone writing articles about me from now on,” she wrote. “I ask you to choose photos from my Twitter so I’ll do the same.”
