Justin Bieber is facing battery accusations made by a neighbor who claims the singer made threats during an argument near his Los Angeles-area home, according to E! News, though no further details of Bieber’s supposed behavior were made available. While no arrests were made or injuries reported, the L.A. Sheriff’s Department is investigation the accusation. “Everyone that we will need to talk to, we will talk to,” a spokesman says. Bieber was stopping home in California this week between stops on his European tour.

Jon Hamm is growing tired of the attention his private parts have been receiving. “Most of it’s tongue-in-cheek, but it is a little rude,” he tells Rolling Stone of the photos spread online of his crotch. “They’re called ‘privates’ for a reason. I’m wearing pants, for f—’s sake. Lay off.” Of course, the “Mad Men” star doesn’t want to come off as a complainer. “I mean, it’s not like I’m a f—ing lead miner. There are harder jobs in the world,” he says. “But when people feel the freedom to create Tumblr accounts about my c—, I feel like that wasn’t part of the deal. But whatever. I guess it’s better than being called out for the opposite.”

Sean Penn‘s 18-year-old son, Hopper, is proving to be just as much of a fan of the paparazzi as his dad, reportedly getting physical with a photographer outside a Beverly Hills building, according to TMZ. The photographer claims he and Hopper argued before the young man shoved him. But while the photographer reportedly showed police footage of the incident when they arrived on the scene, he declined to press charges.

Hayden Panettiere has secretly gotten engaged to her Ukrainian boxer beau, Wladimir Klitschko, according to Us Weekly. “Very few people know, and she isn’t wearing her ring publicly yet,” a source says. “Looks like a summer wedding.” Panettiere and Klitschko split up in 2011 after two years of dating, and they have not officially confirmed they are back together, despite several public displays of affections over the past few months.

Joel McHale doesn’t expect to be hosting the Oscars next year, even if his fans think he’d be perfect for the gig. “They’re not going to call me,” McHale said during an interview with Larry King, responding to a fan-submitted question about whether he’d entertain the thought of hosting the Academy Awards. “Would I entertain the thought? I just entertained it. I was very entertained. So was the thought. The thought was like, ‘This was a great time.'”
