Beck is so not a loser. In fact, this week he's actually pretty cool. The singer is releasing new music for the first time in six years with his new album, "Morning Phase," on sale Tuesday. And beginning this week, anyone flying in the next 30 days gets to stream Beck's new album for free. Yes, that's right, you can drown out the screams of crying babies and the boring stories of the guy next to you by listening to some Beck.
Since the free streaming started this morning, anyone taking advantage of it today gets to hear the album before everyone else. Non-fequent fliers have to wait until tomorrow.
Early reviews of "Morning Phase" have called the album mellow, gentle and while a departure from early Beck, still widely praised. Entertainment Weekly says it's his best album yet, which are strong words considering this is the artist's 12th volume. Given the album's rumored softness, it sounds like it's the perfect soundtrack for flying the friendly skies.
