Charlie Hunnam pulled out (heh) of "Fifty Shades of Grey" due to so-called scheduling conflicts (or maybe someone tipped him off that it wasn't a movie about a paint store owner and he read the book and holy moly). However, Dakota Johnson is still onboard, and Anastasia Steele still needs her Christian Grey, so the search goes on. Producers say Johnson is playing an active role in finding her costar.
"She's helping us look through the candidates to see which chemistry kind of captures our attention," producer Michael De Luca told E! News.
"She's just so Anastasia Steele. She's the best partner a producer could have."
De Luca says they're casting a wide net, and they'll soon find their Christian.
"We're looking on [E!'s] website, we're looking under rocks in Zimbabwe, in space, on the moon. We're looking everywhere, but I think in a couple weeks it will be announced and everything will be cool," he said.
Oh! Cast someone from the moon! That is the only way I will watch this movie: if it's Bondage In Spaaaaace.
