J.J. Abrams will make one lucky "Star Wars" fan's dream come true. Well, one of their dreams. He can't make Han shoot first. (Credit: Getty Images)
Deep inside your soul, you know that you could be the next Han Solo, if someone would just give you a shot. Well, now your time has come. At least your time has come to briefly stand next to the new Han Solo, probably without saying any lines. Still pretty cool.
J.J. Abrams, director of "Star Wars: Episode VII," released a video on Wednesday offering a walk-on part in the new film. Star Wars is joining forces with UNICEF for a new charity initiative called "Star Wars Force for Change" which will support UNICEF Innovation Labs. For every $10 you donate, you'll be entered in a raffle for a chance to visit the "Star Wars" set and play a walk-on role.
J.J. Abrams' video announcement is below. Even if you think that the idea of being in Star Wars is just ho-hum, the video's worth checking out for the first glimpse of the Abu Dhabi set, including a brand new Star Wars creature. Some sort of chicken-lizard-pack-animal thing. Wonder how much that lizard donkey gave to UNICEF.
