It was the wedding heard ’round the world as Kim Kardashian and Kris Humphries exchanged vows in one of the biggest Hollywood events of the year.
We may not have been rich or cool enough to be invited, but that doesn’t stop us from wanting to know what happened (admit it).

—According to E!, which was the only organization allowed to bring cameras to the event, there were about 450 guests at the Montecito, California ceremony. Kim wore a Vera Wang gown that was strapless with a fitted bodice and a full tulle skirt with a long train. Her hair was up and topped with a diamond headpiece.
–Though we will have to wait until the September 5 issue of People magazine to see the first photos of the dress, Madame Tussauds in Hollywood revealed its prediction on a wax figure of Kim Kardashian on August 18.
–Among the A-listers invited were Demi Lovato, Avril Lavigne, Ryan Seacrest, Julianne Hough, Eve Longoria, Sugar Ray Leonard, Kelly Osbourne, Lamar Odom and Nicole Richie. Donald Trump reportedly turned down an invite due to his extremely busy and highly important schedule, according to OK! Magazine.
— Ellen DeGeneres was able to snag a last minute invitation by tweeting,” No invitation to @KimKardashian’s wedding yet. #WorstThingInTheWorld,” according to the Daily Mail. Kim apparently wrote back, “Of course u are invited!!!! COME!”
–Although guests were asked to only wear black or white, photos of Lindsay Lohan have surfaced showing the actress in a long, white gown, begging the question: was Lindsay trying to steal the spotlight? The answer is probably yes.
–Kim’s four sisters were her bridemaids along with Kris Humphries sister, Kaela. Her stepfather, Bruce Jenner, walked her down the aisle.
–As Kourtney Kardashian walked her son and ring bearer, Mason, down the aisle, she lost her balance and stumbled a bit. She was, however, able to regain her footing and continued down the aisle, much to the relief of the crowd, according to E!
–Guest were treated to catering by Wolfgang Puck and entertainment by Robin Thicke, according to TMZ.
–Our favorite part of this wedding comes in the form of a mischievous little kid who managed to sneak behind a CNN live shot. We’re not sure where he came from or how he managed to stay on camera for so long, making ridiculous face after face, but he is our hero.
