Jackie Chan has a career in film that is longer than many of us have been living. For over 50 years, Jackie Chan been impressing us with his complicated flips, stunts, and martial arts moves in his over 200 films! Such a robust career is certainly an accomplishment of its own. But on Saturday Chan received his most cherished acknowledgement of all: an Oscar.

Jackie Chan was one of four actors who received a lifetime achievement award at the annual Governors Awards in Hollywood, E! News reports. Tom Hanks introduced the 62-year-old and made a toast in his honor. Chris Tucker, the co-star in Chan’s successful “Rush Hour” franchise, presented him with the award. In his acceptance speech Chan thanked his fans who motivate him to keep making films and “breaking [his] bones.”
