Janet Jackson's still got it. The singer released a new song this morning called "No Sleeep," --- no, that's not a typo, apparently it's just the "cool" way to spell sleep these days --- debuting it over Twitter saying, "I dedicate this to My Love." As you might be able to conclude from the song's title, the lyrics are about looking forward to a restless night with a lover.

It's the first single off Jackson's upcoming album and the first new song she's released in seven years. Musically, "No Sleeep" is classic Janet Jackson, with her soft come hither voice reigning over layered electroic instruments. She hasn't strayed what has served her well in the past, and somehow old feels new again.

The song was produced by Jimmy Jam and Terry Lewis, who Jackson worked with in the '80s and '90s, producing four albums together.
