The holiday season appears to be a big time for updating relationship statuses — and not just in a good way. “Avengers” star Jeremy Renner is reportedly splitting from wife Sonni Pacheco after less than a year of marriage, and it doesn’t sound like a very amicable split. Model and actress Pacheco filed papers to dissolve the couple’s 10-month-old marriage, a union Renner hadn’t even publicly confirmed until September. In the filing, Pacheco cites that old, popular chestnut, “irreconcilable differences,” as the cause for the split.

So how irreconcilable are these differences? Well, Pacheco is asking for physical custody of their 21-month-old daughter, Ava Berlin, spousal support, the use of Renner’s Range Rover for the time being and for Renner to pay her rent and moving expenses. Where it gets weird, though, is where she reportedly demands the return of her “stolen” passport, birth certificate and social security card.

Oh, and one more thing. Pacheco thinks their ironclad prenup should be tossed out completely because of “unspecified fraud.” Would it be so much trouble to actually specify that for the rest of us?

Renner has been characteristically quiet about his family life since tying the knot. “I have tried to protect my family’s privacy, my wife’s privacy. I don’t need her to get hammered with my life,” he told Capitol File magazine in September when he finally let slip that he’s married. “Privacy issues are important because I want her to go about her day without being bothered.”

But apparently he doesn’t want her to go about her day outside of the country.
