But yes, longtime object of admiration for lesbians everywhere — and probably a girl-crush for many straight women, too — Jodie Foster is reportedly dating photographer Alexandra Hedison, according to E! News. Hedison was on Showtime’s “The L Word” for two seasons and previously dated Ellen DeGeneres, so you know she’s legit.
Foster has never exactly explicitly outed herself. (Remember that cryptic speech at the Golden Globes, in which she essentially did come out, but not in so many words?) So the only surprising thing about this item is that she’s finally ready to go completely public.
I don’t even have anything snarky to write about that; if only more closeted celebs could be out and proud. (Ahem, looking at you, Travolta.)
