Johnny Depp’s first wife doesn’t believe Amber Heard

Last week, Amber Heard filed for divorce from husband of 15 months, Johnny Depp, accusing the star of hitting her with a cell phone and being abusive throughout their relationship.

Lori Anne Allison, who was married to Johnny Depp from 1983 to 1985, has come forward to defend her former husband, saying that he “isn’t capable of hurting anyone” and “would never lay a hand on a woman,” TMZ reports.

She describes Depp as a “soft person” who never got physically abusive with her or even screamed.

Allison, then a makeup artist, married Depp when she was 25 and he was 20. Though their marriage only lasted for two years, the pair remains friends and talked recently when she offered her condolences after the death of Depp’s mother.

Depp is currently on tour with his band Hollywood Vampires in Europe and is definitely not shying away from the stage despite current legal drama.
