Kanye West has a message for all his haters, and it involves his middle finger.

On Friday evening, the 39-year-old recording artist performed a set of five songs at the annual Harper's Bazaar Icons Party — he then flipped off the crowd during his performance of "Runaway," just before addressing the criticism he's received over his controversial Yeezy Season 4 runway show at New York Fashion Week.

"I tried to listen to all the reports and s–t and I tried my best to stop trying," West said in reference to the mixed reviews over his fashion line. "But I just couldn't do it! I couldn't stop. No matter what they write, I just couldn't stop." Following his rant, he then dropped the mic and walked off stage early, according to Billboard.

The entirety of West's fashion show, which took place last Wednesday, was pretty much a disaster. First, the rapper-turned-designer received immediate backlash for announcing that the show's open casting call was seeking "multiracial women only." Then, attendees were forced to wait nearly two hours on Roosevelt Island for the show to begin. Meanwhile, at least one of the models fainted from having to stand in the heat all day.
