Kate Middleton made fun of Prince William’s bald spot

LONDON, UNITED KINGDOM - JUNE 15: (EMBARGOED FOR PUBLICATION IN UK NEWSPAPERS UNTIL 48 HOURS AFTER CREATE DATE AND TIME) Catherine, Duchess of Cambridge and Prince William, Duke of Cambridge stand on the balcony of Buckingham Palace during the annual Trooping the Colour Ceremony on June 15, 2013 in London, England. Today's ceremony which marks the Queen's official birthday will not be attended by Prince Philip the Duke of Edinburgh as he recuperates from abdominal surgery. This will also be The Duchess of Cambridge's last public engagement before her baby is due to be born next month. Kate Middleton and Prince William are in Sydney, Australia, right now, and it sounds like that brash Aussie sense of humor might be rubbing off on the Duchess of Cambridge: on Thursday, she reportedly mocked her royal husband’s bald spot in public.

Kate and William were guests at the Royal Easter Show in Sydney yesterday, where they watched an alpaca get sheared. Alpaca farmer Lyn Crejan showed the royal couple a tuft of alpaca hair the same sandy shade as William’s hair, and his wife suggested he put it to good use.

“The Prince was interested in the alpaca and as I showed it to them the Princess said he should put it on his head,” Crejan told reporters, according to E! Online. “She said, ‘You need it more than me,’ and pointed to his head and he laughed.”

Low blow! I’m sure it’s all in good fun, though, and William probably gives as good as he gets. I’m sure he mocks the shininess of her hair, or her model-like proportions, or… well, there’s really nothing obvious to mock Kate Middleton for. That’s why I don’t write about her very often, to be honest.
