Kate Middleton is gearing up to give birth to her second child — a daughter, reportedly — and this time she's planning to take more time off for maternity leave than she did with Prince George. But leave from what, exactly? "She felt she came back too soon last time. She wants to have that [time] and enjoy it with George and the new baby," a source tells People magazine.

The big question, of course, is how the elders are taking the news. While it's unknown how Queen Elizabeth — who might tsk tsk about how royal duties were so much more strenuous in her day — reacted to the request, Prince Charles is reportedly all for it. So there's that.
