Kristen Stewart reveals to Marie Claire magazine that instead of throwing herself into film work following her breakup with Robert Pattinson, she spent most of 2013 taking road trips with friends, working on her poetry and discovering things about herself — like the fact that she doesn’t necessarily have a romantic type. “You don’t know who you will fall in love with. You just don’t. You don’t control it,” she says. Another thing she’s learned? It’s OK to not be good at being a celebrity. “I’m just not very good on TV, and it’s not my main goal in life to get good at it,” she admits.

“People are like, ‘She just can’t handle’ — for lack of a better word — ‘the spotlight.’ No, actually, I can’t, and that is totally who I am.” And Stewart has definitely learned how to handle her critics: “I stand by every mistake I’ve ever made, so judge away,” she says.
