Well, this isn’t very parental. Kristen Stewart’s mom, Jules Stewart, allegedly gave an interview to Britain’s the Sunday Mirror flat-out confirming that the former “Twilight” star is dating her personal assistant, Alicia Cargile.

“What’s not to be accepting about her now having a girlfriend? She’s happy,” Jules says. “She’s my daughter, I’m just her mom so she knows I would accept her choices. I’ve met Kristen’s new girlfriend, I like her. What’s not to accept? She’s a lovely girl.”

After those statements went viral, she told Us Weekly that she actually never said anything of the sort. Well gee, thanks for clearing that up, mom!
