Let’s listen to Kanye West rap about Chipotle

Remember when Nick Jonas was the littlest Jonas brother? Not hyper-coiffed Joe or the awkward Kevin — but the baby-faced youngest brother of the Disney-bred, promise ring-wearing band that gave us such hits as “Lovebug” and “Wedding Bells.” Well, he’s an adult now, with a successful solo career, a collection of bomber jackets that won’t quit and a relatively disgraceful grasp on the electric guitar. The video for his latest “Chainsaw” dropped today and features lyrics (with matching imagery!) such as, “I took a chainsaw to the sofa where I held your body for so long.” Concerning? Maybe. But it’s damn catchy.

Ariana Grande’s latest “Dangerous Woman” is set to release on the 20th from Republic Records, but her collaboration with Future is already making the rounds with a handful of other tracks. “Everyday” — a flirty electro dance song that’s teeters on the high-pitched verge of insufferable and exhilarating, a Grande speciality — is said to have a “really dope vibe” according to the rapper, so take that as you will.

Chvrches released a new track this week for the “Mirror’s Edge Catalyst” soundtrack — that’s a video game, I had to look it up, too — ahead of the title’s June 7 launch. The song called “Warning Call” is a breezy bright electronic ditty that is a perfect pick-me-up for this sudden burst of spring weather.

ScHoolboy Q is joined by Kanye West for his new single (stylized as) “THat Part” from his TBD sophomore album. Most notably West raps about Chipotle, noting “Beggars can’t be choosers, b—h, this ain’t Chipotle,” which may be the best press they’ve gotten in a while.
