It seems Liam Hemsworth has had a change of heart — a 3.5 carat change of heart — after saying he is way too young to be thinking about marrying girlfriend Miley Cyrus.
The 22-year-old “Hunger Games” actor proposed to his 19-year-old girlfriend of three years with a Neil Lane engagement ring on May 31, according to People magazine.
“I’m so happy to be engaged and look forward to a life of happiness with Liam,” Cyrus told People.
We wonder how surprised Cyrus was when Hemsworth popped the question, considering he told OK! Magazine back in April that he wasn’t considering marriage any time soon.
“Marriage and kids are way in the future for me,” Hemsworth said, two months before he proposed. “I’m young. It’s not really on my mind at the moment — marriage, kids or anything.”
Or anything? We’ve got to hand it to Hemsworth: When he makes his mind up, he makes it up quickly.
