The good news: Lindsay Lohan managed to make headlines just before National Mean Girls Day. Yes, this is a thing: “It’s October 3rd,” as the classic line goes. But this time Lohan isn’t having another meltdown or scandal. The bad news: she had to sever one of her extremities to do it. The anchor sliced off the tip of her finger, sending her friends on a search for the missing flesh before rushing Lohan to the emergency room. A plastic surgeon was able to successfully reattach it. Thankfully, the freak accident didn’t stop Lohan from taking selfies, making fun of herself or celebrating National Mean Girls Day with the rest of us.
