Seriously, people. I just don’t get it. Jon Snow’s apparent death at the end of last season of “Game of Thrones” was a huge shock, and the fate of his characters is one of the biggest question marks of the new season, which launches in April. So why do people keep asking cast members of the show during interviews whether he’s alive or dead? Do they actually expect an answer? Have they never seen how TV shows work before?

The folks at YouTube channel The Upcoming apparently haven’t, since they tried to get something out of Maisie Williams about it on the red carpet for the UK Critics Circle Awards. “I feel so mean because I speak to people and they’re all like, ‘Jon Snow, is he back?’ And it’s really heartbreaking because people are like, ‘Yeah, but he’s coming back though?'” She says. “It’s a great twist, but I can’t say he’s going to be alive.” Of course you can’t. I’m sorry people keep asking.
