Meet Toby, the hipster dog taking over Instagram

You’ll agree that this hipster dog is one snappy dresser.

Toby LittleDude is a small Maltese pooch, who, like any dandy, enjoys dressing up and posing for the camera. His owner Joyce posts the fabulous photos of Toby to Instagram, where he has a whopping 80,000 followers. And being a model mutt, Toby’s getting his fair share of marriage proposals.

What’s the story behind Toby?

Toby is a confident little Maltese who’s been by my side every day since he was 3-and-a-half months old.

When did you get the idea to photograph Toby dressed as a hipster hound?

I put my sunglasses on Toby one day and noticed that he didn’t mind them. I snapped a photo and shared it online and people loved it. I realized that Toby was a natural in front of the camera and for fun, I decided to add a pair of thick black-rimmed glasses and bow tie to his look. This was the beginning of Toby’s hipster image.

So, does Toby actually enjoy the photo shoots?

Toby actually loves the photo shoots because there are always treats involved. It only takes me a few seconds to snap a photo and then it’s treat time!

He’s a hot dog, so is he receiving lots of marriage proposals?

Yes! Toby has quite a few followers who have asked him out. He’s currently enjoying life as a bachelor, so marriage will have to wait.

Toby has gained a lot of followers on social media. Are you at all surprised by this?

It’s amazing how so many people all over the world love seeing Toby’s photos.
