Mike Huckabee trying to walk back calling Beyonce and Jay-Z ‘trash’

That lovable scamp Mike Huckabee has a problem with Jay-Z and Beyonce — and with the First Family enjoying their music. “How can it be that the Obamas let Sasha and Malia listen to that? Apparently they do,” he writes in “God, Guns, Grits and Gravy,” his adorably titled new memoir that apparently does more than just list things that will lead to an early death. “Jay Z is a very shrewd businessman, but I do wonder: Does it occur to him that he is arguably crossing the line from husband to pimp by exploiting his wife as a sex object?”

While he’s busy backtracking, insisting that he thinks Beyonce is “a wonderful talent” who doesn’t have to degrade herself by introducing anything remotely sexual into her act, I would like to point him to numerous examples from Jay Z’s work suggesting he is in fact just fine with being a pimp. Though I think he’s using the word differently.
