As of Monday morning, a message onthe museum’s websitesaid “The Morbid Anatomy Museum is now permanently closed. Thanks to everyone for two and a half wonderful years!”

A Facebook post by Tonya Hurle, whom the Daily News identified as a board member, said, “A heartfelt thank you to everyone who has supported us in this endeavor. We are extremely proud of the groundbreaking work we’ve done and the incredible community we were so privileged to serve.”

The museum’s annual holidayKrampusparty, hosted by Ghoul a Go Go, featuring acostume contest, photo booth, sing along and piñata on Dec. 16 appeared to have been its last hurrah.

According to its crowdfunding page, the museum was only able to raise about $8,000 by the time it closed.
