New full length ‘Dr. Who’ trailer premieres

Calling all “Dr. Who” fans: the first full-length trailer for the new series of the show has appeared, featuring a good look at the new doctor, as portrayed by Peter Capaldi. Capaldi, best known to some audiences as the foul-mouthed Malcolm Tucker of political satires “The Thick of it” (TV version) and “In the Loop” (film adaptation thereof), is clearly going to put his own spin on the famous doctor. We’re imagining there will be significantly less swearing than he usually has to work with. The new series premieres on BBC America on August 23. Was that a T Rex in there? Get excited.
