Today may be the 50th anniversary of Beatle mania, but another boy band has them beat for taking over the world. After the success of their global One Direction stores, the boy band has plans to open 1D-themed cafes all over the world, E! news reports. The first location will open in Japan, with others opening in Berlin, Paris, Sydney and of course in their home city, London.
There will be strong coffee to help adults power through their kids' 1D sing-a-longs and teen-friendly coffee-flavored drinks to appeal to their fanbase, who probably haven't developed an affinity toward the stronger stuff yet. One Direction music will of course be played and plenty of merchandise will also be sold.
Soon, those "Midnight Memories" will be being made over a nice cup of joe, or as these Brits may prefer, tea.
