Prince Harry doesn't let being a member of the British royal family keep him from having a good time.
No, the above headline is not the result of a game of Mad Libs. It is real life.
Prince Harry recently made the trek to the South Pole for the Walking Wounded Challenge, a charity event to raise funds for injured servicemen and women. His teammate, "The Wire" star Dominic West, said the prince brought some special skills to the table. Namely, building elaborate latrines.
"He did one with castellated sides and a flag pole, a loo roll holder, and you're sitting there thinking, 'This is a real royal flush,'" West revealed at a press conference, according to Us. "He must have spent about 40 minutes making it. He built these incredible, intricate designs."
And how do you celebrate several successful days of frigid latrine-building? With a boozy leg party. When Prince Harry and West's team made it to the South Pole, that's just what they did. "The Icelandic truck drivers who were driving the support vehicles had saved some booze for us to celebrate, so we had a bit of a binge," West said. "We were drinking Champagne out of [a team member's] prosthetic legs."
That is one benefit to losing a limb I had never considered: excellent party tricks.
