Read children's letters to Pope Francis — and his replies

He answers questions from around the world in a new book.

As you can imagine, Pope Francis receives letters from all over the world from people asking deep questions about faith and God, and for specific prayers. Not all the letters are from adults. The Pope receives letters from children too, who ask many of the same things adults wonder.

The Pope answers some of these questions in the new book "Dear Pope Francis," out today. A 9-year-old living in Nigeria asks Pope Francis how to settle conflicts in the world. A 9-year-old in India asks how to find God. A 7-year-old in Australia writes saying his mother is in heaven and asks if she will grow angel wings. Here, we share three letters from the book.
