Ryan Gosling and Eva Mendes have welcomed their second child, according to some shady detective work by TMZ. The birth certificate lists the new baby as a girl named Amada Lee Gosling, born April 29 at 8:03 a.m. in Santa Monica, California.

And no, they didn't misspell "Amanda." Amada — also the middle name of the couple's first daughter, who is 20 months old — is the name of Mendes' late grandmother. And also her character in the 2007 police drama "We Own the Night," but that seems like less of a sentimental reference.

If this all seems kind of sudden, it's because word hadn't even gotten out that the notoriously press-shy couple was expecting again until last month. And now the baby is here! Which is great, because the world can use fewer celebrities playing the "baby bump watch" game.
