Sarah Jessica Parker trolls ‘Sex and the City’ fans for self-promotion

There goes Sarah Jessica Parker, getting “Sex and the City” fans’ hopes up once again. This week, the actress posted a photo to Instagram of herself in a sleek white dress making a run from Bloomingdales in very Carrie Bradshaw fashion, along with the caption, “I guess the cat’s out of the (little brown) bag. As usual, we will keep you posted on every detail as we are able. I’m under strict gag order until then.” The cryptic message sent some fans into a tizzy that a third “Sex and the City” movie might finally be happening, but no. No, it’s not.

“The post is not in relation to the ‘Sex and the City’ property,” a Warner Bros. studio repconfirms. And they’re not fibbing. It turns out Parker was just teasing the news about her shoe line, SJP Collection, officially going on sale at Bloomingdale’s starting next month. Sure, that’s a big deal, but she didn’t have to drag fan aspirations into it.Sorry to get your hopes up.
