If this were an episode of "Scandal," everyone involved would have been blackmailed into silence or assassinated by now. Unfortunately for "Scandal" star Columbus Short, if there are any real Olivia Popes in the world, they probably don't concern themselves with bar brawls.
Short, who plays Harrison Wright on "Scandal," was arrested in Los Angeles on Wednesday following an alleged bar fight on March 15th that left one man in the hospital. The incident took place at Gabe's Bar and Grill in Los Angeles, and reportedly began when the man began taunting Short. Witnesses told TMZ that the man said, “You might be richer than me but I get my girls to buy me everything I want including your wife.”
Short then allegedly sucker punched the man from behind, breaking his nose and leaving him unconscious for several minutes. An ambulance then took him to the hospital.
Short has been released on $50,000 bail. Let's hope that he can get some help, and that in the meantime, no one else says anything about his wife.
