Sometimes, Vanity Fair’s annual Oscars party boasts better dresses —and better conversations — than the Academy Awards themselves.
First up, the dream team: Lady Gaga and Stevie Nicks. The two music icons chatted it up at the event. Gaga had a distinct Veronica Lake vibe in her cut-out gown while Stevie Nicks channeled, well, Stevie Nicks.
America’s goofy sweetheart, Jennifer Lawrence, changed out of her Dior gown for this Tom Ford mini, and posed next to comedy god Larry David while at the party. She drank white wine (for some reason, it’s soothing to know that Lawrence is a white wine drinker, no?) Another comedy god, Bill Murray, talked with Academy Award nominee Julie Delpy.
Meanwhile, back on the red carpet, Jared Leto photobombed a totally unaware Anne Hathaway. Kentucky Fried Jesus strikes again!
Sofia Vergara, in a form-hugging Roberto Cavallidress, attended the party withherfiance, Nick Loeb, whileSarah Paulson, Jane Fonda and Leto got close. And, finally, there was Pink, who wore a leather jacket on the red carpet the way only Pink can.
