The Jelena saga continues and it looks like it’s getting really ugly. But, the internet has spoken and is #TeamSelena all the way.
When Biebs posted a series of selfies with alleged girlfriend Sofia Richie on Instagram, his Beliebers weren’t very happy and reportedly started being “so mean” to the 17-year-old model. So, the “Sorry” singer threatened to make his account private.
Shortly after Bieber’s post, the hashtag #RIPBeliebers started trending. Fans were enraged that Bieber was putting his short-term girlfriend over them, despite all the support that he received from them over the years. But just as the Beliebers were slowly coming to terms with the Biebs’ ungrateful behavior, Selena Gomez came to the rescue with some words of wisdom. Suddenly, Beliebers became Seleners or the proper term “Selenators,” after she basically accused Bieber of disrespecting his fans. After Selly put her ex on blast, the trending topic changed to #SelenaEndedJustinParty.
The drama didn’t end there. The Biebs couldn’t handle the truth, especially coming from his long time ex-girlfriend. Even though the “Hands to Myself” songstress seemingly won this battle, Bieber didn’t back down. So, he fired back, accusing Gomez of using him for attention! Clearly, Biebs forgot that Gomez was Alex Russo from Wizards of Waverly Place in 2009, while he was still posting YouTube videos. Tsk, tsk!
For an apology, that was a pretty terrible one, and the Beliebers weren’t buying it. But then Gomez got super personal with some pretty serious accusastions against Biebs.
Whoa! Bieber a cheater? We’re so surprised — not. The conversation ended there, at least publicly (of course, we’re definitely curious what was going on behind the scenes). But Selly wanted to throw one last shot at the Biebs with an Instagram collage expressing love to her fans.
Yikes! We’re wondering what Sofia Richie thinks of all this.
