‘SNL’ has released this week’s host promos, featuring Seth Rogen and Aidy Bryant getting a little meta about what they’re doing. Rogen is hosting this weekend with musical guest Ed Sheeran. This is apparently Bryant’s first go ’round in the promos, and she’s very determined to do a good job.
She’s making a real name for herself as a professional anxious person. Witness her ever-painful but always-hilarious turns in the “Girlfriends Talk Show” sketch, wherein she’s perpetually a step behind her slightly cooler friend, played by Cecily Strong. If you don’t identify with Bryant during those scenes, you had a way too well-adjusted high school life.
