Most musicians get their table-waiting days out of the way before they get the Grammy awards and the beautiful model girlfriends, but St. Vincent seems like doing things a bit backwards. The singer — and girlfriend to Cara Delevingne — spent the weekend waitressing at the new Resident Taqueria in Dallas, Texas, the restaurant’s management confirms to People magazine. “She’s a family member of the owner,” a source explains, in case you were wondering. The new dining spot just opened its doors this weekend, so maybe she was just helping out until they’re fully staffed. Or maybe she’s doing research for a new album all about tacquitos. I would totally listen to that.
