British author, actor and genteel renaissance man Stephen Fry has confirmed that he’s tying the knot with Elliott Spencer, a comedian 30 years his junior. “Oh. It looks as though a certain cat is out of the bag,” Fry posted on Twitter. “I’m very, very happy of course but had hoped for a private wedding. Fat chance.” The public got wind of the union when Fry filed notice of his plans to marry at Norfolk, U.K. register office. His assistant also confirmed the news, but stressed that “no date has been set due to a busy work schedule,” according to a statement.
