SXSW concert review: Jamestown Revival

Jamestown Revival

Austin homegrown band Jamestown Revival sure was glad to be back in Texas. Frontman Jonathan Clay performed the whole set wearing a button-down, hat, cowboy boots and some pretty tiny swim trucks stamped with the Texas flag on them.

The band’s twangy, foot stomping indie-rock performance set the mood as fans enjoyed free tacos and beer while singing along between bites. Their song “California (Cast Iron Soul)” was the crowd-pleaser of the night; download it for your next roadtrip.
