Sunday gossip: Country cat fight between Taylor Swift and Carrie Underwood?

44th Annual Academy Of Country Music Awards - Backstage

Taylor Swift‘s love life isn’t the only source of tension in the 23-year-old singer’s life. She apparently also has some issues with her country music rivals. Producers at this weekend’s Grammy Awards were reportedly ordered to keep Swift and Carrie Underwood “from crossing paths since they hate each other,” sources tell Us Weekly. “Taylor feels Carrie is always rude to her, so she steers clear of her.” Reps for the awards show, though, insist that “No requests were received from either artist.”

“Harry Potter” alum Emma Watson is standing up for pal Kristen Stewart in the fallout from the “Twilight” stars cheating scandal last summer. “Those who criticized her are the same people that think being rich and famous is like being covered in some kind of magic powder that makes life perfect. Nothing can go wrong in your wonderful world,” Watson tells Vanity Fair. “Everyone makes mistakes, everyone. On one hand, I can understand why it happened: People felt really involved in her relationship with Robert Pattinson. But it’s also true that they both have done everything in their power to keep their relationship as far from the public eye as possible.”

It looks like Chris Brown‘s luck isn’t getting better anytime soon. The scandal-plagued singer was involved in a car crash this weekend, totally his car but escaping uninjured, according to E! News. Brown was alone at the time and reportedly told police that he was being chased by paparazzi prior to the crash. “Chris Brown was in a car accident this afternoon after being ruthlessly pursued by paparazzi,” his rep says in a statement. “Two vehicles cut him off. The occupants jumped out, with cameras, and aggressively approached his vehicle. In an effort to remove himself from the situation, he began to back down an alley, at which point his way was cut off by two additional vehicles. Chris’ vehicle was totaled due to this aggressive pursuit by the paparazzi. He is OK.”

He’s just sold his first film as a director, the racy “Don Jon’s Addiction,” and already Joseph Gordon-Levitt is feeling the pain of being in charge of a movie. Gordon-Levitt sold the film to Relativity Media at the Sundance Film Festival for an attention-grabbing $4 million, but the deal depended on Gordon-Levitt agreeing to edit to the film to ensure an R-rating, according to the Hollywood Reporter. “Yes, we expect we have to do that, and I’ll be getting started on it as soon as I get back.” he told reporters at the Berlin Film Festival. “I think it’s important that those images are in there, but what precisely you see isn’t that important,” he says of the racy content for the film, which focuses on a womanizer’s addiction to online pornography. “What’s important is the rhythm of the film, the repetition of what the Don Jon character does, over and over.”

While suspected killer and former LAPD officer Christopher Dorner is still on the lam, at least one celebrity wants to help him out. Charlie Sheen, who is mentioned briefly in Dorner’s lengthy manifesto, has recorded a video message reaching out to Dorner, who is being sought in the murder of three people, according to E! News. “You mentioned me in your manifesto, so thank you for your kind words. I am urging you to call me,” Sheen says in the clip. “Let’s figure out together how to end this thing. Call me. I look forward to talking to you.” In the manifesto, Dorner writes, “Charlie Sheen, you’re effin’ awesome.” He also pays tribute to Ellen DeGeneres, Serena Williams, Natalie Portman and Jon Stewart.
