Can you believe we’re about to enter Season 24 of “Dancing with the Stars?” The ABC show premiered in 2005 and has dazzled audiences ever since, pairing celebrities with the country’s greatest dance talent for a choreographed dance floor collaboration. But what have been the best performances of all time?We take a look back at some of our favorite routines in advance of the new season’s premiere on March 20.

Bindi Irwin’s tribute to her dad

Back in 2006, the world lost Steve Irwin, the crocodile hunter, after he was involved in a fatal accident with a stingray. His daughter Bindi was only eight years old at the time. As an eighteen year old, she appeared on “Dancing with the Stars” Season 21 to perform a tribute to her dad with Derek Hough. You’ll need tissues before watching this moving moment.

Nyle DiMarco performs to “The Sound of Silence”

Nyle DiMarco was the first deaf winner of America’s Next Top Model and during Season 22 of DWTS, he put on his dancing shoes with partner Peyta Murgatroyd. Advancing to the finals, the pair performed a freestyle dance to “The Sound of Silence” and DiMarco dedicated the routine to the deaf.

Amy Purdy dances to “Human”

Amy Purdy lost both of her legs below the knee at age 19, after a battle with a form of bacterial meningitis. This didn’t stop her from becoming a world-class snowboarder, activist and entrepreneur. In 2014, she competed in DWTS with partner Derek Hough wearing pointed prosthetic feet and wowed audiences. One of the most moving performances was to Christina Perri’s “Human,” which included fast turns and incredible displays of grace and strength from Purdy.

Noah Galloway is “titanium”

War veteran and double amputee Noah Galloway had to overcome the odds to survive. On Season 20 of DWTS, he partnered with pro dancer Sharna Burgess to express his journey on the stage. For their freestyle performance to Sia’s “Titanium,” the pair received a perfect score.

Alfonso Ribeiro whips out “The Carlton”

Remember Alfonso Ribeiro from “The Fresh Prince of Bel Air?” Well, he killed it with partner Witney Carson on DWTS in Season 19. For their jazz routine, the pair had irresistible chemistry and Ribeiro even snuck in the signature move he is famous for — The Carlton.

Drew Lachey’s “Save a Horse [Ride a Cowboy]”

Remember Drew Lachey from the boy band, 98 degrees? Well, he may not be singing so much as of late but he sure is dancing. Together with partner Cheryl Burke, he won Season 2 of DWTS. One of their most celebrated routines is the sexy, western-inspired number to “Save a Horse [Ride a Cowboy].”

Rumer Willis sambas to “The Little Mermaid”

While most women aspire to be Disney princesses, actress and singer Rumer Willis decided to channel her inner sea witch for her Disney-themed performance with partner Val Chmerkovskiy, playing a glamorous, Samba-dancing Ursula during Season 20 of DWTS. Sounds like a stretch but it’s a truly extraordinary performance.
