‘The Interview’ is coming to Netflix, and soon. Like, this weekend soon.

Well, that was fast. If your biggest complaint about “The Interview” coming to VOD right away at Christmas was you didn’t want to pay to watch it in your home, you’re in luck — as long as you’re a Netflix subscriber. The controversial film that nearly destroyed Sony is coming to the streaming service this very weekend. “We are thrilled to offer exclusively the controversial comedy ‘The Interview’ to our U.S. and Canadian members beginning this Saturday, Jan. 24 — just 30 days after it debuted in theaters and pay-per-view,” Netflix CEO Reed Hastings announced in a letter to shareholders.

The film has also raked in more than $40 million in digital sales in the last month plus $6 million from its very limited theatrical run. That ekes its grosses past its reported $44 million production budget, but just barely.
