It’s finally happening! The Mean Girls musical is coming in fall 2017 to Washington, DC! A verified Twitter account for the production launched the news on October 3rd, naturally. @MeanGirlsDC tweeted:

Tina Fey and her husband, Jeff Richmond, have teased us with the idea of a stage adaptation of her 2004 cult class for years. But they never confirmed a timeline for the production.
