After some epic performances on Monday, Tuesday night’s “The Voice” revealed some shocking results for Season 6’s top 5 artists.

The show kicked off in country style, with Audra McLaughlin, Jake Worthington, Kat Perkins and Kristen Merlin singing The Band Perry’s “Chainsaw.”

The first artist to be saved was Usher’s only remaining contestant, Josh Kaufman. Following Kaufman was Shakira’s only remaining artist, Kristen Merlin.

Christina Grimmie, Delvin Choice, Sisaundra Lewis and Josh Kaufman gave a vocally solid performance of Sam Smith’s “Latch.” After the performance, America saved Adam’s tiny powerhouse, Christina Grimmie, and Blake’s authentic country singer, Jake Worthington. That left Sisaundra, Audra, Kat and Delvin battling it out for the final spot. Adam Levine was not happy to see two of his artists in the bottom four.

“I’m perplexed that these are the artists who are scrapping for a spot on the show,” Levine said.

Sisaundra Lewis sang Aretha Franklin’s “You Make Me Feel.” As always, she gave a powerful vocal performance and ended with a long note, receiving praise from all four coaches.

Audra McLaughlin sang The Band Perry’s “Done,” performing with attitude and energy as she sang across the stage and into the audience.

Kat Perkins reminded America that she is a rock star by singing Heart’s “Barracuda.” Usher said he wanted to hit his button for her again just to keep her on the show.

Finally, Delvin Choice sang a heavenly rendition of Bruno Mars’ “Young Girls.” “There’s nothing you can do wrong,” Shakira told Delvin.

After a hotly contested evening to select this season’s top five artists on “The Voice,” America instantly saved Kat Perkins (Team Adam).
